Overview
During my 10-week internship at Ansys, I focused on enhancing business productivity and process efficiency by leveraging Generative AI. As a UX Researcher, I applied my UX design skills to improve documentation usability, developing innovative research methods to identify AI use cases, and expanding my technical expertise with Generative AI tools.

Learning: Gained insights into technical documentation best practices through guidance from consulting experts and technical architects.

Contribution: Reviewed and refined documentation flow, organization, and interactivity to enhance usability. Suggested refinements clarified relationships between systems, reduced interpretation time, and facilitated intuitive navigation for technical users.

Takeaways
I am grateful for this internship experience, and for the opportunity to leverage GenAI as applied to UX research and design skills to enhance business processes in a real-world context. I was able to gain a deeper understanding of technical documentation, develop user-centered research methods, and hone my ability to collaborate across functional teams. This experience reinforced both my technical and problem-solving abilities as well as my passion for designing innovative and impactful solutions in the field of user experience.
